I do not and never did see anything offensive about "Friends". Even though the six main characters were white and heterosexual, that does not mean that they were prejudiced against people who were different. There were various bit-part players of different ethnic and racial backgrounds. Nobody made fun of them for being different. They dealt with Joey being Italian in ethnicity and Catholic in religion. He was accepted as an equal by the rest of the group. There was one episode in which Joey mentioned his parents being prejudiced against the Irish. However, he did not say anything to imply that he agrees with their point of view or even that he condones their behavior in that respect. There were supporting character who were homosexual. They were depicted as reasonably likable people. They had characters of different educational levels and economic statuses. I did not see a lot of prejudice there either. I do not really understand what people are complaining about.
