Netflix today announced how the fourth and final season of Stranger Things will be broken down into two volumes. Volume 1, consisting of Episodes 1 through 7, debuts May 27 with most episodes running at 75 minutes. The final two episodes, Episode 8 and 9, drop on July 1. Episode 8 will run 85 minutes, while the Episode 9 series finale will approach 2-1/2 hours, according to Variety. The Duffer Brothers recently told The Wrap that Episodes 7 and 9 will be of movie length. “Seven and nine in particular are movies,” Matt Duffer said. “And nine is a long movie.” When asked how long, Ross Duffer responded: “We’re still refining it but we will say that it is over two hours. It’s a big one.” ALSO: Watch the first eight minutes of Season 4. |
