This was an article about nothing. Jerry isn't interested in doing a reboot and he owns the rights to the characters.

Back in the 90's Carroll O'Connor wanted to do some type of Archie Bunker revisit (for lack of a better term), his idea was to have Archie working as a limo driver, Lear put the kibosh on the idea immediately and that was that.
