Favorite Corinne Bohrer Short-lived Sitcom

I'm a longtime fan of the lovely Corinne Bohrer. She starred on five short-lived sitcoms in the 1980s and 1990s.

She has starred in movies such as Zapped! (1982), Joysticks (1983), Surf II (1984), Stewardess School (1986), Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol (1987), Dead Solid Perfect (1988), Vice Versa (1988), Star Kid (1997) and Big Eden (2000). She has appeared in many commercials, including the role of the "counselor" in Apple Inc.'s "Get a Mac" ad campaign.

My favorite sitcom she starred on is Free Spirit. She played a witch named Winnie Goodwinn. It was kind of a Bewitched rip-off. She is very cute in it. It's probably the one that people most remember her from. Never saw any of those shows, but she was in Valerie Bertinelli’s miniseries I’ll Take Manhattan. Cool info, right?

Corrine Bohrer was also on the original live-action TV incarnation of DC's The Flash from 1990. She played, Prank, the sidekick to the villainous Trickster played by Mark Hamill. In hindsight, this may have foreshadowed Mark Hamill's role as The Joker on Batman: The Animated Series, with Corrine's Prank serving as an early version of Harley Quinn.

I wonder in an alternate timeline, how Corinne Bohrer would've fared on Friends if Lisa Kudrow didn't get the Phoebe Buffay part.



Her demeanor in this McDonald's ad kind of reminds me of Lisa Kudrow's on Friends (i.e. cute, quirky, and ditzy).

Lisa Kudrow is a good comparison. I can picture her playing Phoebe on Friends.

She guest starred as Melanie on the first season Friends episode "The One Where Rachel Finds Out" in 1995.

I remember watching her on E/R and Free Spirit, Free Spirit I remember watching because she was in it, and also Franc Luz as I enjoyed him in the horror western Ghost Town. But I haven't seen either in decades so I don't remember them too well.

Corinne had small but memorable parts in The Beach Girls and They Call Me Bruce.
