Question Shows that were not only retooled, but renamed

It has to technically, be the same show in that it has the same principal cast, air on the same network, and had its retooling/renaming occur in a relatively short-time frame (i.e. less than a year). In other words, they I wouldn't consider the renamed show to be an out and out spin-off but more of a "soft-reboot" or revamp.

For example:
It's debatable but Too Close for Comfort becoming The Ted Knight Show. What was the first season of The Ted Knight Show was retroactively labeled as the sixth season of Too Close for Comfort after Ted Knight's untimely death put a premature end to the show that had his namesake.

It's also debatable if you want to consider Season 10 of Roseanne from 2018 to retroactively be the actual first season of The Connors.

I suppose that Archie Bunker's Place is technically, a retooled/revamped version of All in the Family instead of being an out and out spin-off. I want to consider it a separate entity though since Archie Bunker's Place did last at least four years and has its own Wikipedia entry.

I wouldn't necessarily count It's a Living becoming Making a Living in its second season. Even though there was a slight modification of the title, it was ostensibly still a show about waitresses working in an upscale Los Angeles restaurant.

Around 1967, The Pruitts of Southhampton changed its title to The Phyllis Diller Show.

Good Morning Miss Bliss -> Saved by the Bell was a retooling not a spinoff. Not only did Miss Bliss disappear, the school/kids moved from Indiana to California. Even if it stayed in Indiana, I'd say it's still not a spinoff but just a retooling of the cast and it becomes more like A Different World.

Saved by the Bell: College Years and the like were all spinoffs.
