McDermott explained that he found it “important” that it was important that Special Agent Remy Scott's backstory was established so that he has a specific reason to be doing what he’s doing. “It fuels me as an actor when I have that,” he says, adding: “On any show, you end up tiring, so for me, I always like to find the few things that I can keep going back to and refreshing it for myself, and I think we found that with Remy…. I know that I’ve used it several times already.” Dylan McDermott had a "seamless transition" from Law & Order: Organized Crime to FBI: Most Wanted "Having worked for the Wolf camp previously, they already understood my style of working," McDermott said while discussing last night's season finale. "They know that I like to improv and make things up on the spot. I think if it was another producer, they’d maybe be a little nervous. But since they saw what I did on Organized Crime for two years, they knew what I was going to bring. You know, we shoot literally next door from Organized Crime and some of the people are the same. It was just an easy transition." ALSO: McDermott says it was his idea to have something personal drive Remy Scott. |
