I thought Wings was going to be on this list. It's in the same universe as Cheers and even had crossovers (Cheers characters visiting Wings, not the other way around). So, I could see people who didn't know better assume that Wings was a spin-off.

I thought "The King of Queens" was spun off from "Everybody Loves Raymond" and "Nurses" spun off from "Empty Nest".

The only association between the shows is that Doug was on Raymond eight times, only playing the Doug character in a couple of crossovers after KoQ was on for a few seasons.
