Either in prime time like the original pilot from July 1987 or on Saturday mornings like Saved by the Bell ultimately did?
I don't completely understand why the show aired on Disney Channel instead of NBC proper, considering that they produced it in the first place. Especially considering that Disney Channel was at the time, a premium cable service that mostly got by on old and repackaged programming. The only answer that I have is that Hayley Mills, who was a big child star for Disney back in the 1960s, was headlining Good Morning, Miss Bliss. So the show in a round about way, did have an affiliation with Disney even if they didn't really produce it themselves. |

I would say yes Good Morning, Miss Bliss would have lasted more seasons if NBC had continued with the show on their network. It made no sense for a new show like that to get moved to The Disney Channel since it was a paid channel so of course it didn't get the popularity like it would gotten on NBC.
