It wouldn't surprise me if "next-generation" strength from the students is what it will take. They are the ones taking the classes and doing the fighting, after all. There's a reason Mr. Miyagi in the first Karate Kid movie wanted Daniel to come to that "fight so I don't have to fight" revelation on his own.
