Quantum Leap adds three, including a military veteran in her first TV role

Caitlin Bassett, Mason Alexander and Narissa Lee have joined the NBC pilot sequel series to the original 1989-1993 Quantum Leap. According to Variety, "Bassett is a military veteran, having spent seven years serving with U.S. Army Intelligence and the National Security Agency. She served three tours abroad prior to her honorable discharge with multiple combat and meritorious honors." Bassett's character is a project lead at Quantum Leap headquarters who operates state-of-the-art technology to communicate with an individual time traveling in the past. Alexander, who is coming off of Cowboy Bebop and The Sandman, will pay the chief architect of Quantum Leap’s A.I. program. Lee, who previously recurred on Bosch, will play Jenn, head of security for Quantum Leap headquarters.
