The Tiffany Haddish-fronted murder-mystery comedy "The Afterparty" will be back for a second case.

Apple has renewed the series for a second season ahead of the Season 1 finale, which airs on Friday, with Haddish set to return for the sophomore run.

Detective Danner may have one cracked murder case under her belt, but in Season 2 of "The Afterparty", she’s about to come face to face with another twisty crime.

The 10-episode second season will premiere with two episodes on Friday, April 28, with new installments releasing weekly.

In its sophomore run, “a wedding is ruined when the groom is murdered and every guest is a suspect,” reads the official description.

“Detective Danner (Tiffany Haddish) returns to help Aniq (Sam Richardson) and Zoë (Zoë Chao) solve whodunnit by questioning family members, star-crossed lovers and business partners, and hearing each suspect’s retelling of the weekend.”

Apple TV+ has announced the new release date for "The Afterparty's" second season.

The delayed sophomore series will return Wednesday, July 12 with its first two episodes and then it will then drop one additional installment every Wednesday through Sept. 6.
