To clarify, this simply isn't about shows took a dip in quality from each season. Instead, they took a horrendous nose dive from its initial season and never again reached its peak form.

"Revenge" and "Prison Break" (though the 2017 revival was good)

My vote is Arrested Development. I loved the first season, second season was Ok but the third season was unwatchable. The viewing public felt the same because the ratings fell badly and it was cancelled.

The Millers. The first season was funny but the second season was so bad, it got cancelled.

The only show that hit me that way at the time was Get a Life. Cheers fell apart in the third season, but then bounced back for the fourth and fifth seasons.

I would go with Batman. After the second season, the show was cut back to one episode a week and Batgirl was added. But it wasn't enough to save the show and by March the show was cancelled.

HBO's "Westworld".

It doesn't feature the western theme park anymore, now it's some futuristic society dystopian thriller.
