Default Here's Why Leather Tuscadero VANISHED from TV's "Happy Days"

What is it with the Tuscadero sisters? First, Pinky disappeared after three episodes during season 4 of "Happy Days" and then Leather shows up for seven more episodes during seasons 5 and 6 only to disappear just like her sister. Here's the truth about Leather Tuscadero and the musician who played her, Suzi Quatro.

So if everyone liked Miss Quatro and she valued the experience, I wonder why she wasn't asked to come back after her few episodes?

BTW, it's interesting that the audience never learned whether Pinky or Leather were the Tuscadero Sisters actual given names or nicknames. Even when Officer Kirk tried to sabotage Leather from performing, he never referred to her by any other name. If those were their given names, one has to wonder why the Tuscaderos would have chosen them for their daughters- especially for their younger one!

I saw a interview with Suzie from 1981 where she said she loved her time on Happy Days and said that the producers of the show made her a couple offers to make more appearances but she turned it down saying she wanted to do other things. So it doesn't look like they just forgot about her. Story wise it didn't make any sense. What happened to Leather? Did she become a big star? Why did she never return to Arnolds? Lol

Yeah, the writers dropped the ball on Leather but, at least, Miss Quatro and the cast&crew stayed on good terms during and after her time there (unlike how there was 'good riddance' to Miss Kelly).

Maybe she disappeared because Suzi Quatro was a pretty famous Rockstar? Joan Jett cites Suzi as one of her major influences.

I think that Leather went to either New York or London to become a big star
