I can think of two reasons why Janet Waldo was replaced by Tiffany Darwish as the voice of Judy Jetson on Jetsons: The Movie:

1. The producers didn't want to risk the then-70-year-old Janet Waldo dying before the film's release like George O'Hanlon and Mel Blanc did.
   
2. Either a Universal exec or an agent of Tiffany Darwish's coerced Tiffany into doing the film, because I don't believe she wanted to do Judy Jetson's speaking voice in addition to her singing voice. I'd rather they went with the (possible) original plan of Tiffany doing just Judy's singing voice while leaving Ms. Waldo's speaking parts intact. I wonder if Tiffany Darwish regrets replacing Ms. Waldo on Jetsons: The Movie today.

And most ironically, Janet Waldo lived for another good 25 or so years (she was said to be 96 when she ultimately passed in 2016).
