TMC Member Forum Idol Join Date: Jan 09, 2001 Posts: 127,191	NFL accused of racial discrimination in a class-action lawsuit filed... by recently fired Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores https://sports.yahoo.com/brian-flore...211356727.html Flores filed suit today after he was stunningly fired last month after three seasons as the Dolphins' head coach, the last two of which were winning seasons. Flores' lawsuit, timed for the first day of Black History Month, also targets the Miami Dolphins, the New York Giants and Denver Broncos, accusing the latter two teams of flouting the Rooney Rule, the NFL's requirement that each coaching search includes interviewing two minority candidates from outside the organization. The NFL currently only has one Black head coach in a league that is majority Black. Within 30 minutes of the lawsuit breaking, ESPN started covering the lawsuit live, while the league-owned NFL Network stuck with a Tom Brady documentary. UPDATE: Flores is scheduled to appear on CBS Mornings on Wednesday.
