Danny Tanner's character recast on Fuller House if show resumes

If Fuller House were to get picked up again by Netflix or another network, would you like to see John Posey or another actor play Danny Tanner?

John Posey was the original actor who played Danny Tanner on the pilot episode of Full House before Bob Saget took over the role to play Danny Tanner. Bob Saget was the first choice to play Danny Tanner but when he was unavailable due to being in another project, they picked John Posey who was the second choice. After the pilot episode was shot with John Posey, Bob Saget became available and then they reshot the pilot episode with Bob Saget.

Anyone have ideas who could play Danny Tanner if Fuller House resumes? I guess John Posey is an option since he played the part.

If or when the time comes for another incarnation of Full House, I don't see the harm in simply saying that Danny has passed away. At this point, it would be extremely weird to see anybody else but Bob Saget in that role. Full House in itself, right from the start dealt with the touchy subject of death. Of course, there's what happened to Danny's wife, but there was also that episode where Jesse's grandfather suddenly died.
