It seems like it would be cheaper to put hidden cameras outside of Cindy James and the Wackers homes then to use the man power investigating it with no leads or suspects.

Probably a lack of technology at the time. Cameras were expensive and needed tape (or film), etc. There were no HD 4K iPhones back then.

It's roughly the same time period as the Wackers (1984-1993) and I'd be surprised if they had much more money than Cindy. |

That's right. At one point, around 1988 I believe, Ozzie spent money out of his own pocket to buy one camera and have it installed on Cindy's garage. She couldn't afford it and Ozzie later said he couldn't just tell her, "Sorry you can't afford a camera. Go off and die now."

She didn’t commit suicide. She was murdered, and the killer has still gotten away with it all these years later. He has yet to be aphrended.

If you're correct about her being murdered (and she may have been), that means the endless torment she was experiencing was real, and that alone would cause almost anyone to have severe mental health issues and suicidal thoughts. |

As already mentioned, it was the 1980s. People voluntarily have doorbell cameras (which are a bad idea altogether that I could discuss at a different time) but no one did this 40 years ago.
Also, I believe Cindy was doing this sort of thing to herself. Not the Wackers though, it sounded legit with them. |
