Were some It's a Living episodes remade as episodes for The Golden Girls
The It's a Living writers I want to say, came over to The Golden Girls for that show's final three seasons. For example, the episode "The Case of the Libertine Belle" from The Golden Girls awfully similar to the It's a Living episode "Farewell My Sonny"? They not only share the same writer and the same basic plot--a murder mystery dinner that starts with the characters playing out a murder with multiple killers, which turns into a "real" murder that one of the regulars is accused of, that then turns out to be fake as well--and several of the same lines.
