It's surprising that Welcome Back, Kotter isn't on the list. As the actors who played the Sweathogs were getting older late in the run, to me they outgrew their role of high school students.

Kotter should be on the list. It's painful to watch now.

Personally, to me, all shows age well. It's not about aging well. It's just that some people lose interest in a show.

The list doesn't seem well thought out to me.
The following shows had spinoffs and/or re-imaginations so to speak, many years/decades after it originally ran, and the cast is remembered for these shows: 15. Saved By The Bell, 10. Brady Bunch, 8. Full House The shows also run on cable channels to this day. Other shows like Blossom and Sister, Sister were never so popular even when it originally ran, often overshadowed by other shows. Also, it is rather random that Sister, Sister is second on the list. The Mowry sisters became known from Sister, Sister, and as actors, they used their child actor work to line up other work to continue acting as young adults, then to adults to maintain some familiarity/recognition over the years in tv and later book deals. |

Which TV shows aged like milk?
"Green Acres" once Eleanor the cow joined the cast! (Can you tell I'm a big fan? I'm going to miss it when it leaves next week!) |

Many of those early family sitcoms from the 50s and early 60s have aged horribly with Leave it to Beaver as an exception. It highly depends on the actors and Leave it to Beaver had the best of the bunch, which has helped make the show timeless.
