How was Frasier Crane able to afford his home - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

He lived in a three bedroom condo in a high-rise in downtown Seattle. In real life, wouldn't that hover in the three million dollar range? And keep in mind that Frasier a small local radio show and pays alimony and child support.

Not only that, but one of the first episodes had Frasier talking about how he did not want to do radio advertisements due to his background/beliefs. He also didn't come from money, since his mom was a shrink and his dad a cop, with some earlier ancestor being a lowly worker and thief.

I often wondered that myself. Frasier didn't have a private practice like Niles.

He was a psychiatrist and a media personality. If a doctor/celebrity couldn't afford a house in downtown Seattle, who could?

True, but Niles had a lot more money than Frasier maybe because of Maris.
