TMZ reports Sagal was in a crosswalk Thursday when a Tesla making a left turn apparently didn't see her and hit the actress, who's currently appearing on The Conners. TMZ reports her injuries weren't serious and she's expected to be released soon.

Kurt Sutter jokes that wife Katey Sagal is going to audition for Dancing with the Stars after a car hit her

The Sons of Anarchy creator made light of Sagal recovering after a Tesla hit her on Thursday when she was walking, sending her to the hospital. "She’s the only one bringing in money right now… so I’ll be picking her up from the hospital later, taking her to that Dancing With the Stars audition. #fingerscrossed," he wrote on Instagram.

I didn't know this until just now but Katey's father, Boris Sagal was killed in a horrific helicopter accident back in 1981:
