Like sometime around the last season or two of Family Ties? She was in particular, incredibly unlikeable in the final episode, "Alex Doesn't Live Here Anymore".

It really was odd how passive-aggressive Elyse was about Alex moving out. What did she expect? That he was going to stay there forever?

She was more mad at the fact that Alex was just leaving and not giving all of them a second thought. She confronted him about that near the end.
