In 1998 actor/dancer Gregory Hines had his very own sitcom called The Gregory Hines Show that aired on CBS and followed Gregory Hines as he went on many adventures as he made friends in New York. Although destined to be a huge hit judging by the many previews it had The Gregory Hines Show was cancelled after one season. As for Gregory Hines he passed away in 2001 but had CBS promoted it more The Gregory Hines Show would've been a bigger success
