The Seinfeld alum will appear in two episodes this fall as Pastor Phil, described as "an unconventional cleric with a rebel past. He uses humor and unflinching honesty to spread the good word.” |

I notice Jason Alexander in bit parts on shows. Unless he is just doing it for something to do (likes to work, doesn’t want to retire, pays well), because Seinfeld should have had him in the money forever.

Jason Alexander describes playing an unconventional pastor on The Conners' Season 3 premiere
The Seinfeld alum plays upbeat Pastor Phil, who leads an AA meeting, in tonight's live premiere and next week's episode. “With the full acknowledgment that I am neither Christian nor a man of the cloth, my guess is that term relates to his self-deprecating humor and the somewhat tortuous path he took to the pulpit," says Alexander of his unconventional character. ALSO: The Conners bosses discusses Becky's "difficult" sobriety journey. |
