Soap Opera Digest reports Gibbs will reunite with her 227 co-star Jackée Harry on the NBC daytime soap, playing her mother. McLean is expected to appear in one episode of Days. He says the cameo is fulfilling “one of my biggest dreams” since he used to watch Days with his grandmother.

This is just stunt casting at this point. Jackee Harry has no experience as a dramatic actress, for one, but I think Marla would do a good job in a dramatic role.
