TMC Member Forum Idol Join Date: Jan 09, 2001 Posts: 125,847	Could a new Lassie show work? The most recent scripted Lassie series ended in 1999. But how do you think a modern audience would react to Lassie's owner constantly getting in danger? Also, would the main concept about a hero dog not really work in a TV landscape where most of it is serialized or at least has an overarching story arc?
