Danielle Fishel's husband Jensen Karp accused of being an abusive boyfriend
https://www.dailydot.com/unclick/jen...gations-abuse/
The Drop the Mic executive producer, who went viral this week after allegedly finding shrimp tails in his cereal and then went viral again after Twitter discovered he's married to Danielle "Topanga" Fishel from Boy Meets World, is starting to have a Milkshake Duck moment. Three women have spoken out on social media alleging that Karp was an abusive boyfriend. Actress Melissa Stetten tweeted that Karp was a “manipulative gaslighting narcissistic ex-boyfriend who once told me he was surprised I hadn’t killed myself because my life was so worthless.” Meanwhile, comedian and A Black Lady Sketch Show writer Brittani Nichols, who didn't date Karp, recalled her time working on Drop the Mic. "I worked Season 2 of Drop the Mic," she tweeted. "A show that, in my opinion, he & the other EPs stole. I was told leadership had to be talked into hiring a person of color for the RAP show. 1st season there were 0 writers. My season, I was the only black writer and there was a black WA." Nichols also recalled being uncomfortable with his rewrites, and fighting to get a line about sexual assault taken out of one battle rap. Karp has yet to respond to the new accusations. |

Well, we can hope that in spite of this evident history, Mr. Karp has been treating Miss Fishel and their son like fine china but I wouldn't bet the rent on it. If after X number of years, they break up and she alleges he did similar stuff to her as these women, it wouldn't come as a total surprise to me.

Viral Cinnamon Toast Crunch guy Jensen Karp hit with more abuse allegations, including in his role as executive producer on Drop the Mic
The Daily Beast reports on more than a decade of alleged toxic and manipulative behavior from Karp, who is executive producer of the TBS battle rap reality competition. The reporting comes after several former co-workers and exes came forward with abuse allegations following his viral fame earlier this week. “He’s like the Loki in the gallery, comedy, and writing world,” a source tells The Daily Beast, referring to the Marvel character. “He’s not untalented, but he’s not talented enough to be doing what he’s doing because he doesn’t put the work in. He’s not a hard worker. He just kind of takes, takes, takes and then moves on. The real Loki trick is that he’s very charming. When you talk to him, he uses language really well, he’s funny enough. The charm and the moxie are disorienting at first, you get kind of lost in it. Then you peel the layers back and you realize that (he) is there to take what you’ll let him until you’re left with nothing.” Eliza Skinner, who worked for Skinner for three years on Drop the Mic, described the experience as hellish, since he would often scream at her. Comedy writer Brittani Nichols, who also spoke out in a tweet about working with Karp on the show, told The Daily Beast that she often heard Karp yelling for Skinner to come to his office instead of walking the few feet it took to reach her. Skinner alleges that when she tried to raise concerns about Karp screaming at her and the overall treatment she endured to another executive producer, she was instructed to go to Karp with her complaints and to hash it out. “It was a very difficult response,” Skinner said. “When you say, ‘Someone is abusing me that you put in power, you gave them power over me.’ And now I’m the one who has to fix it? But I did. I sat down with him with my list of complaints and said, ‘Please, you cannot do these things to me, you cannot do these things to the writers,’ and he agreed to them.” Skinner said she was eventually fired thanks to Karp in 2018. A representative from TBS deferred all comment to Drop the Mic producers CBS and Fulwell 73, the production company co-owned by The Late Late Show's James Corden and Ben Winston. CBS declined comment. |

I wonder if Miss Fishel will claim that Mr. Karp has never been less than the most wonderful boyfriend then husband at this time despite what could possibly a pattern of him not having treated past girlfriends or coworkers that wonderfully.
Well, Mr. Karp is her 2nd husband so we know she DOES have the capacity to divorce him if she finds he's not worth staying married to. For her and their son's sake, I hope things work out for her. |

This is the first I've read/heard that he may be abusive. Regardless of whether or not he truly is, I hope that people aren't trying to discredit what he says about the cereal box because of his connection to a public figure. To me, people being in the spotlight for whatever reason doesn't mean that what they have to say about other things doesn't count.
God bless you and Danielle and her family always!!! Holly |
