WWE Network is shutting down next month as WWE moves its content to Peacock - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

The standalone service will shut down on April 4, one week ahead of WrestleMania 37. All WWE content will be available on Peacock Premium.

Why I think WWE is doing this is to make up for low attendance since the Coronavirus shut down arenas and putting holds on sporting events last year. But shutting down WWE Network and moving it's content to Peacock isn't gonna help WWE when FOX already has the rights to WWE Smackdown Live since 2019. I think WWE is planning a super secret deal with Peacock to get the rights to show Monday Night Raw and they just might take away Smackdown Live from FOX as well. It seems that next to Netflix Peacock wants to be the crown prince of streaming services and wants to grab anything they can get their hands on. I can bet WWE will slowly lose it's audience due to this move and when you look at the general picture WWE has been successful in everything from merchandise such as action figures dolls toys clothing backpacks purses bedding and everything else but shutting down WWE Network is only gonna hurt WWE because a lot of wrestling fans like learning about what's happening with stars such as John Cena Sasha Banks Charlotte Flair Becky Lynch The Rock and other WWE stars and having the network helps. But what I think will happen is that WWE will develop another WWE show for FOX that will regain new fans to WWE. But as the proverb says "a stitch in time saves nine"
