Really there is nothing new in this YouTube video that haven't seen or read before. The announcer just seem to be reading facts from Wikipedia and other web pages that are available online. And the viewer get few commercials with it too for good measure.

I remember waiting a long time to get the opportunity to watch this and when I finally did get to see it I thought that it was very disappointing. I remember there being a bunch of factual errors.

Probably alot of factual error regarding Sanford&son came from Lamont. For example in an interview he said everybody got high on the set and Esther allegedly was their drug pusher and was providing drugs for the cast.

But Rollo completely denied that rumor in a later interview.

Demond Wilson also once said that the last time that he performed high happened before Sanford & Son even premiered. He's not a credible source.

Regarding the Redd Foxx: Celebrity Underrated episode, there were inaccurate statements about how long that Sanford and The Redd Foxx Show ran for and there was also an inaccurate statement about how many episodes of Sanford & Son that Redd Foxx missed.

The thing Redd Foxx, is that his story is one of those things where (and maybe it's just my imagination or I'm being presumptuous) where we seemed to have already heard of before without any new perspective or angle?

I mean, how many times have we heard the same regurgitated story about his his contract disputes and walking off the set of Sanford & Son, his IRS troubles, his friendship with LaWanda Page, his fatal heart attack on the set of The Royal Family. I guess the only real thing that would newly intrigue people is his relationship with a young Malcolm X.

I also noticed that the video didn't really touch upon Redd's short-lived 1986 self-titled sitcom for ABC.
