Why is there so little care with the continuity
Character backstories regularly change as do motivations. They had a small pool of extra actors and used the same actors for different characters all the time. For example, the actor playing Mitch’s best friend may be playing a bad guy a month later and a lifeguard’s love interest a year after that.
