Chris Noth, who currently co-stars with Queen Latifah on CBS' The Equalizer, will not reprise his role as the iconic Mr. Big in HBO Max's And Just Like That revival of Sex and the City, reports Page Six. Chicago Fire star David Eigenberg also won't return as Steve Brady, the love interest to Cynthia Nixon's Miranda Hobbes after barely appearing in Sex and the City 2. Noth reprised Mr. Big in both Sex and the City movies. In the first film, Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big got married. And in the second, they struggled with married life, deciding in the end to make their marriage work. Noth has yet to comment on the revival, but James Andrew Miller's 2018 podcast Origins revealed that the canned Sex and the City 3 would've killed off Mr. Big and that Noth hated the endings to the first two films. "I really hate corny stuff and it could be because I'm a little bit of a cynic. Like, the whole thing at the end of the movie in the shoe closet — hated it," Noth said on the podcast. Earlier this month, Eigenberg told EW of the revival: "I got to check in with some people about it and we'll see what happens. I don't have any answers on that. You know, my time there was a beautiful time and I'm very lucky to have been a part of that and we'll just have to see what happens. The love of my life right now is Chicago Fire, that's where my heart lies and we'll see if it's something that transpires in the future, but I don't know."

Having hem absent from the revival (rather than reboot), as it opens up storyline possibilities for Carrie and Miranda. But what of Harry?
