This is in light of the recent news about DC Comics be doing comics based on the 1978 Superman and 1989 Batman live-action films respectively.
Do you think that for instance, they could continue where the last TV movie, The Death of the Incredible Hulk left off? Keep in mind, that it wasn't always intended to be final storyline. Had the ratings been better and had Bill Bixby not taken ill, then what's not to say that we would've gotten a fourth movie titled The Revenge of the Incredible Hulk. Also, a comic book adaptation of the 1978 series could finally introduce elements from the comics that weren't present on the series such as villains like the Leader or Abomination. |
