Audra Lindley ( Mrs.Roper) also played on a short lived sitcom from the early 70's called " Bridget loves Bernie" .She played Bridget's Mother without the curly Mrs.Roper wig !

When I first saw her on Three's company , I was like Oh,it's Bridget's Mom being B loves B was the first thing I ever saw her on !!

Bridget ( her Daughter on the show )was Meredith Baxter who later on played the Mom on Family ties ! She was really young in this, early 20's or so !

The other day while watching Nick @ Nite, I happened to catch Audra Lindley on an episode of Friends as Phoebe's grandmother. For some reason, I couldn't right away recognize her. I don't know if it's because by this point, it had been almost 15 years since her last appearance as Helen Roper on Three's Company. I also don't know if it's because she wasn't wearing her curly, red wig. I just keep thinking to myself, "Why do I know that woman!?" I say this, because I could instantly recognize Audra Lindley's voice.
