I know who's going to win...The Tampa Bay Buccaneers!
I REALLY Think the stage is set for Tom Brady to win another SB ring! ![]() ![]() ![]() As for me...I'll be having "No Super Bowl VIII". Just snack on Super Bowl foods and watch Groundhog Day! |

I wanted The Neighborhood to be the lead-out program for Super Bowl 55, but CBS chose the The Equalizer reboot starring Queen Latifah instead. I got into a nasty argument regarding this earlier this month, because somebody does not want any sitcoms after CBS's Super Bowl telecasts. In place of the 2021 version of The Equalizer, I'll be watching a movie myself (it's not going to be Groundhog Day, though). It's "No Super Bowl Lead-Out III" for me. |

I'd like to see Tom Brady, just for the "no Belechick" angle. It'll be an interesting display of experience vs talent. I'm expecting the Chiefs to win. |

CBS has a "backup announcer" at the Super Bowl in case Jim Nantz is unable to work the game
CBS Sports' No. 2 NFL announcer Ian Eagle will be on call in case anything goes wrong, such as Nantz losing his voice or having a medical emergency. “I’ve actually been the break-glass guy two other times,” he tells The Ringer. Eagle is also the backup for Super Bowl radio announcer Kevin Harlon. As The Ringer's Bryan Curtis notes: "Last year, Fox didn’t need to work up an elaborate emergency plan. Joe Buck was calling the game. In the same press box, Kevin Burkhardt, Fox’s no. 2 announcer, was calling the game on the international feed." But Curtis also points out that NBC doesn't have a backup announcer in case Al Michaels isn't able to call the game. “That thought has never crossed my mind,” said Sunday Night Football executive producer Fred Gaudelli. “It would definitely cross my mind if we were doing this game.” ALSO: NFL won't let the Tampa Bay Buccaneers fire their cannons after touchdowns at their home stadium Sunday. |

Hope he loses (or I don't mind if he wins if KC only wins by 3 or less)

The Bucs won it all...since they DO have Tom Brady!
I'm sorry, but...the NFL IS Fixed! They LOVE Tom Brady, so...WWE should have Royal Rumble on Super Bowl Weekend! |

CBS gives itself an A-minus for a C-minus Super Bowl
This was the second lackluster Super Bowl for the team of Jim Nantz and Tony Romo. Two years ago, they called another Tom Brady-winning dud of a game, a 13-3 New England Patriots victory over the Los Angeles Rams that was the lowest-scoring game in Super Bowl history. This year, they had to deal with a Tom Brady-led blowout. “I thought we had an A-minus telecast for a C-minus game,” lead producer Jim Rikhoff told The Athletic. “You can’t control the game. We’ve been fortunate to have three great AFC championships where we had great telecasts and then maybe two subpar games on the field in the Super Bowl that our group has done. You always want to have a great game, but when you don’t have that, it’s often more of a challenge for the production. You have to cover the game that happens in front of you. I do think Jim and Tony struck a great balance between entertainment and football acumen. That’s what people want. They want to learn about football and they want to be entertained, especially in a game like the Super Bowl where you have a lot of peripheral viewers who are not hardcore football fans. But I also think Jim and Tony are great for the hardcore football fan. That’s a hard balance to strike for this game. ALSO:

I'm not a fan of either team and didn't watch the game but I figured Tampa would win since the game was played in their stadium and Tom Brady shows no signs of slowing down and not yet ready to retire.
