When he was pitched to join the revival, Lopez says he was weary of joining a show like Fuller House, another 1990s sitcom revival. But then he saw Cobra Kai. “It was such a smart, clever way, the way they blended the nostalgia and this updated version,” he says. “So (I said), if we can emulate that, then I'm down.”
