When watching Supermarket Sweep I saw the preview for Craig Ferguson's new game show The Hustler and I would like to know more about it? From what I saw of the preview of The Hustler the format looks kind of weird. What are the contestants supposed to do in The Hustler? Are they supposed to answer trivia questions or is it like a cross of The Apprentice and The Mole? I don't know why ABC picked Craig Ferguson to host The Hustler but it seems he's a Comeback Kid after Celebrity Name Game and his short-lived game show on History Channel

Hi, Bestie! This is what I know about The Hustler how do you think this will play?:

Comedian and host Craig Ferguson is returning to the airwaves with a new trivia game show series at ABC, “The Hustler,” in which one player will already secretly know all the answers.

The format involves five contestants working together on a series of trivia questions, with the aim of growing and winning a collective prize pot. Despite knowing the answers, the Hustler must conceal his or her identity in order to have a shot at winning the grand prize. During each episode, the Hustler anonymously eliminates two contestants, leaving three contestants. If the Hustler and the two remaining contestants answer correctly, they share the prize. If the other two are wrong, the Hustler gets to take home the full pot.

Craig Ferguson is the only good part of ABC's ill-conceived The Hustler

The game show version of The Mole format looks like a disfigured child of To Tell the Truth and The Weakest Link. ALSO: Ferguson says The Hustler has a "Bachelor-y type" aspect.

My mom watched The Hustler last night and hated it. She said there was a lot of screaming and yelling at each other. I was originally going to check it out, but think I will pass now.

I might have liked it more if Craig Ferguson toned down on the corniness.

I saw the 2nd episode and the set looks nice. Other than the questions the show doesn't keep me interested. Maybe if the show was only a 30 minutes show it would go faster.
