Holly Taylor is turning 23 today. Taylor was born in Nova Scotia, and moved with her family to New Jersey as a young girl. She began taking ballet at that time. When she was about eleven, she joined the cast of the Broadway production of Billy Elliot: The Musical as one of the ballet girls.

In 2011, Taylor was cast in her feature film debut, playing the title character of Ashley as a young girl–the film’s release was delayed until 2013. By the time it came out, Taylor was becoming well known for another role.

Taylor began starring on FX’s The Americans, a period drama set in the Reagan administration, as Paige Jennings in 2013. Over the course of the show’s six seasons, she discovers that her parents, played by Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys, are in fact deep-cover agents of the KGB.



Taylor has made a few feature film appearances. Like most young actresses, she has headed into scream queen territory, and made a horror film, The Witch Files. She will also star in an upcoming thriller titled We Still Say Grace.

Since the end of The Americans, Taylor has had two regular television roles. Last year she starred on Hulu’s The Unsettling, a fantasy/horror series. Next year, she will join the regular cast of NBC’s Manifest for its third season.
