The first broadcast episode of Saved by the Bell, "Dancing to the Max," aired on August 20, 1989. My questions are what episode was supposed to be the first one out there for us to see and why wasn't it shown then? The season six opener of the Step By Step show ended up being held over until the very end of the season. Why? I have no idea.

I thought the first episode of the revised SBTB was when Slater and the gang tricked Zack into thinking Kelly was crazy. It was the episode where Zack wound up going to the dance with Rhoda Robistelli and ended with Rhoda kissing Zack. Plus, The Max had a chandelier I believe.

^^^ To me, when Zack introduces himself to Slater when he saw that Slater's locker was right next to Kelly's locker looks like it was supposed to be the first episode. Zack later on in the episode scored himself a day in detention thinking that Kelly would be there too.

Do you think there's a dangerous connection between former deceased original Saved By The Bell creator Sam Bobrick and former original Saved By The Bell character Samuel "Screech" Powers for several serious reasons?:
