VOTE BIDEN.” Imperioli quickly deletes the posts because of the response they provoke in Sopranos fans. “A lot of people loved it, but a lot of people really were offended that I’d use the sacred images of the Sopranos characters to promote my own political views,” he said. After some fans who were upset about the political changes Imperioli was making to the Sopranos canon insulted him and his family in the comment section, Imperioli decided to treat the posts like Instagram Stories, which disappear after 24 hours. “It’s my way of burning away the negativity,” says Imperioli, a practicing Buddhist. “My feed remains this thing of inspiration to me.” He also extends his pro-Biden views in comments to fans. “Tony got woke in recent years,” he told a fan. “Tony took a class with Cornel West last fall. opened his eyes.”
