I stopped watching when he said Mike Evans left the Jeffersons to write for Good Times which is false

Yeah, I thought Mike Evans was just fed up with the Lionel Jefferson character.

I posted the reason about 7 years ago and the source which was Ebony Magazine. He wasnt used enough in season 1 and asked how can he get off the show and Lear said just say you want off and Mike said I want off and Norman said DONE lol

But Mike did go work on Good Times & then came back to the Jeffersons. He was even going to move back in with his parents for Season 12 if it happened.

That's probably where he went after he left the show but his primary reason for leaving was because he was overshadowed by Mother Jefferson

The stry I read was that Sherman was a huge fan of psychedelics and psychedelic and New Age music, he also smoked a lot of pot. The guy who wrote the piece went inside his house and it was weird, plus there were chemists there making LSD! Sherman's favorite band was Gong and his favorite famous band was "Yes".

Sherm never married or had children. I have no doubt that Sherman and George wouldnt like each other one bit.
