Through all your challenging treatments for lung cancer, you kept your gorgeous spirit and that impish grin. I'm so grateful Wolfie and I were able to hold you in your last moments. I will see you in our next life my love."

I didn't know he was born in Amsterdam in the Netherlands. He grew up in Nijmegen, which is where a Dutch friend of mine lives.

I really like Van Halen's song Respect the Wind that was used for the Twister end credits. Rest in peace to one of the greatest guitarists of his era.
