On A.P. Bio: The Podcast, creator Mike O'Brien said "there was a moment where we had to entertain the idea that Alec Baldwin might be the lead character of Jack.” But O'Brien always envisioned Jack Griffin to be younger -- and Baldwin agreed. “All of a sudden I’m on the phone with (Baldwin) and he’s like, ‘Look, Mike, the script is really funny," said O'Brien. "It’s great. It seems like it should be a younger guy though, right?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, great. We’re on the same page.’ And he’s like, ‘We both just had to do this phone call because we love our Uncle Lorne.'” |
