The Jimmy Kimmel-hosted version of the game show will film with coronavirus precautions and will feature frontline workers and others severely affected by COVID-19 in Season 2.

How on earth did Who Wants To Be A Millionaire's revival get a second season? I thought ABC decided to cancel it due to Regis Philbin's death and I think why ABC renewed Who Wants To Be A Millionaire for Season 2 was to get more high ratings and if you look closely at the general picture ABC is trying to become game show king by having all these game shows besides Millionaire become hits and they are trying the same formula that GSN used when they were so eager to put out The Pyramid when Dick Clark passed away. Another thing I still can't figure out is why out of all celebrities ABC chose Jimmy Kimmel to host the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire revival when they could've easily offered the hosting duty back to Chris Harrison because Chris not only saved the syndicated version of Millionaire from being canceled but it got high ratings in TV. I think ABC likes to overhype their game shows by having their popular stars host them and I don't think Jimmy Kimmel has the hosting style that Regis Philbin and Chris Harrison has and ABC is just using him so he can have a side job in addition to Jimmy Kimmel Live. In the game show world when you have an original host of a game show die the most important rule of thumb is you cannot replace a legend and the show will go on with an understudy. I think when Season 2 of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire debuts the ratings will be low and the show will be cancelled after three episodes due to Jimmy Kimmel's weak hosting. I hope that ABC doesn't give Supermarket Sweep with Leslie Jones the same treatment when it debuts

Season 2 of Jimmy Kimmel's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire revival will debut October 18th after the Supermarket Sweep revival premieres. This season will also have a celebrity become a big winner. Can't spoil the surprise though so you'll have to watch what happens

This season of Millionaire I plan on watching mainly to honor Regis Philbin but even though I dislike Jimmy Kimmel I still think this season of Millionaire will be great to see
