Amy Poehler to direct a documentary on Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz's marriage

Poehler is teaming with Imagine Documentaries on Lucy & Desi, which will explore the remarkable personal and professional partnership between comedian Lucille Ball and husband Desi Arnaz. “As television’s long-reigning ‘First Family’, Lucy and Desi blazed a revolutionary trail through the cultural landscape that laid the groundwork for so much of the entertainment industry as we now know it," said Imagine Documentaries president Justin Wilkes of the I Love Lucy TV pioneers.
