I mean during, 90210's heyday, he was considered to be the second coming of James Dean. He did in the '90s, have Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the bullriding film 8 Seconds, and a cameo in The Fifth Element. Do you believe that he deserved better options? I heard the suggestion elsewhere, that Luke could've theoretically gotten parts that otherwise went to Keanu Reeves, Christian Slater, Brad Pitt, or Johnny Depp.
Was it because Luke was already south of 30 when he broke out on 90210 but he still wound up being typecast as a teen actor? Do you think that me have stayed on 90210 too long? He stuck around for about a season and a half after Shannen Doherty left/was fired following Season 4. And then he came back to essentially fill the void that Jason Priestly left upon his departure five episodes into Season 9. |
