Sad

I've been dreading this news for years and years. I know he lived a long and prosperous life, and for that I'm happy, but it's still heartbreaking to lose such a legend. I'm surprised he lasted so long after the passing of Anne, since they were life partners in every sense of the word.

He will never, ever be forgotten. He created Arthur to be my favorite television character of all-time.

May he forever rest in peace with Anne.

It's just not possible for me to love Basement Artie, that demented old circus monkey, more than I already do.

He brought so many years of laughter, along with his late wife and on both The King of Queens and Seinfeld. And of course, his son has carried on the torch for both of his parents in making us all laugh, too. He will be missed but forever remembered...

Kevin James and Leah Remini pay tribute to Jerry Stiller

"One of the most kind, loving, and funny people to ever grace this earth," James wrote on Instagram of the late Stiller, who played his The King of Queens father-in-law, following the news that the actor and comedian has died at age 92. "Thank you for so many incredible memories. I love you and miss you. Requiescat in pace." Remini wrote of her King of Queens dad: "I will be forever grateful for the memories, the fatherly talks off screen and for the many years of laughter, the kindness he had shown to me and my family...You will be so very missed Jerry.

I liked Jerry Stiller's character of Arthur more than Frank Costanza. Arthur was weird and would get angry for seemingly stupid reasons like Frank but Arthur had more heart and depth I think and he really cared about people but Frank was just a raging loudmouth, LOL.

The King of Queens cast is reuniting to honor of the late Jerry Stiller

Sony Pictures Television announced today a special charity reunion table read for a cause near and dear to Stiller's heart, Henry Street Settlement, a social services, health care, and arts organization that serves the Lower East Side and all of New York City. Stiller got his start in theater there.

When I heard he passed on I was very saddened by the news. He made me laugh in ways other comedians just couldn't. Loved him as George Costanza's father but even more as Carrie Spooner's. I watched King of queens as a marathon in his honor. Laughed so hard that some of the episodes it made me forget he wasn't with us anymore and why i was watching. May he be remembered and blessed. Thank you for all the laughs Jerry Stiller.
