I agree. They should write him off as having moved far away with his military wife and bring him back once or twice a season.

They should do an episode where DJ really gets mad that it’s always Becky and Darlene that gets to say anything and never him. Last season his wife mentioned that he was seeing a psychiatrist, but they never did a follow up on that.

"Some of the complications just go away," says Helford of his actors' outside gigs, noting that The Conners is in first position to Goodman's Righteous Gemstones role.
