McElhenney says he's applying the lessons of his hit FXX sitcom to his new Apple TV+ show Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet, as well as future episodes of It's Always Sunny. “Forget that it’s morally the right thing to do; it’s also more fun to write,” he tells Esquire. “Otherwise, you’re just stale. You’re stale and old, and the young people are gonna wait till you die before they take over, as is the right of every generation.”
