"Mr. Whipple worked at a supermarket and every time he saw a customer squeeze the toilet paper to see how soft it was, it would infuriate him and he would glare at people and say, 'Don't squeeze the Charmin,'" Eugene Levy said during the "I am an actor" portion of the awards show. "I dreamt that maybe one day I could be the next Mr. Whipple. My name is Eugene Levy ... another thought just occurred to me." At that point, Dan interrupted him. "You've taken three times as long as everybody else and you're still not finished," said Dan. Eugene deadpanned, "My story's complex." ALSO: Schitt's Creek's Annie Murphy landed her role after being out of work for two years with $160 to her name after her apartment burned. |
