Since it's launch in the 80's Entertainment Tonight has been the number one entertainment news magazine on TV and one of the main reasons why ET is such a hit is because they report on hot Hollywood news first before the other entertainment magazines do and with it's anchors you can always count on Entertainment Tonight for the latest stories on celebrities such as Tom Cruise Nicole Kidman Whoopi Goldberg Taylor Swift and Sofia Vergara to stories with titles such as "Alex Trebek's Surprising Recovery" to "On Tour With Elton John" Little did we know that based on the success of Entertainment Tonight entertainment TV news magazines such as A Current Affair Hard Copy Access Hollywood The Insider and TMZ became hugely popular with people and while other entertainment TV news magazines have come and gone Entertainment Tonight will always be number one for entertainment news
